PokéDev: The PokéDev, or Pokémon Device, is a handheld system with various applications that provides useful information for adventuring. It is similar to a Pokénav, Pokégear, or Pokétch. PokéDev - List of Applications ______________________________________
Seasons: Yes, Seasons will be added in Havoc and Serenity. During the game the seasons will cycle: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The seasons cycle every ten real-time days, and the game starts at a random season. Certain Pokémon appear only during certain seasons, so its crucial to watch out for the seasons to be able to complete your Pokédex. Visually, certain locations in game change drastically upon transitioning seasons. Some areas remain the same visually, such as the Ouwahlu Desert. Some other areas gain a change in hue. A more orange lighting tone during Autumn or a frosty silver tone during winter, and even the occasional snowfall or the slow falling of leaves on certain routes. These changes also appear on the battlefield, particularly snowy areas causing hail during battles, or a change in lighting for the other seasons. Ibronox, a legendary introduced in the Havoc and Serenity Project, also undergoes visual a stat changes depending on the seasons. ______________________________________
The Trading Card Game at the Game Corner: The Game Corner will now allow for players to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game against random opponents for coins. The player cannot construct their own deck, but they are allowed to choose from a selection of preset decks that are randomized every time the player plays a round. The player will be allowed to look through the decks until they find a deck best suited for them and then play the game normally from then on. Occasionally there will be random NPCs in Cuaro that will hand out decks that can be used exclusively at the TCG tables in the Game Corner. These as well are preset, but you keep these decks untouched forever, instead of ending up with a random deck each time you play. ______________________________________
Permanent Tag Teams: Throughout the game players will encounter certain NPCs that will allow them to tag-team with them, usually after completing a task for them or progressing through the storyline and finding them again later. The partner will then follow directly behind your character, and will even mount their own bikes, Fly on your Pokémon, or even Surf with you, among other things. The tag-team partner is controlled by the computer, and the partner's Pokémon are set from the beginning of the game, as well as their levels. Depending on who the NPC is, their Pokémon may be at higher or lower levels. Travelling with a tag-team partner will automatically turn all fights into double battles, including rematch and first-time trainer battles, and Wild Pokémon fights. You cannot control your partner's Pokémon, but you may switch your partner's Pokémon out at any time, but only with another one of your partner's Pokémon. Your partner's Pokémon gain experience, therefore are able to level up, learn new moves, and even evolve. You may stop evolution, and you may pick your partner's Pokémon's attacks upon leveling up, or even by teaching by TM or HM, but as previously mentioned, the Pokémon itself is computer controlled. You may pick up a tag-team partner at any time, as well as disband your partnership as you please. Tag-team partners always have three Pokémon, and if you have more than three of your own Pokémon on hand, you will be asked to choose three of those Pokémon to use in battles. The other unchosen Pokémon will remain in your party, but will be marked as unusable until you disband with your partner. You may still use unchosen Pokémon for in-field HM tactics such as Surf or Fly, however. If a partner's Pokémon levels up, evolves, learns a new attack, or otherwise changes while they are with you, and you choose to disband with your partner, your partner's Pokémon will keep its evolution, level, new move, or status change, and when you choose to team up with that partner again, their Pokémon will remain as you left them. If your partner's Pokémon have been inflicted with a status problem or are lower in HP, however, they will be healed upon disbanding. If a partner is using a Pokémon that you have not registered in your Pokédex, it will be recorded in your Pokédex, but will only count as "seen" not "owned". Some tag-teams are required to trigger certain special events, otherwise they're only a challenging and entertaining addition to the game. If you enter a Pokémon Contest while a tag-team partner is following you, your partner will wait outside for you and will re-join your group once you finish the contest.

Housing: You now have the option to buy housing in every city, each city having different types of housing. The larger the home, the more money it costs. You can buy or win decorations throughout the game and decorate your house as you please. Houses automatically come with PCs, so you can switch out Pokémon right from your home. Houses are generally very expensive, however, so be sure to only invest in one if you have a lot of money to spare. Houses can be found spread around every city and will have a sign in front of them indicating that they are for sale. You may enter the empty homes to tour them, and you purchase them by clicking on the for sale sign outside, and confirming your purchase. Houses are a one-time fee, and will remain with you forever. If you choose to buy a new home, or wish to sell your current one, you will be refunded for 3/4 of the price you paid for your old home, and all decorations will be returned to your PC.

Egg Incubator: A new feature of the PC is the Egg Incubator. The Incubator holds up to 6 Pokémon eggs, but it takes longer for the eggs to hatch than if you walk around with them in your party. Once your eggs hatch you will recieve a message on your PokéDev Phone feature, and you may return to any PC at any time to pick up your newly hatched Pokémon. You may , of course, still hatch Pokémon eggs by walking with them in your party, but the Incubator saves space in your party, and walking effort.
