Samuel grew up as a rich child and even now as a young adult has never had to sustain himself financially, relying on his parents for any of his needs - although he usually didn't ask for anything special. On the contrary, Samuel's parents thought it odd as to how simple their son grew up to be, preferring to cloak his financial status whether accidentally or purposefully. Often Samuel would stray from home and wander off into the nearest town, Archeal, which housed the largest memorial site for unfortunate Pokémon in Cuaro. After frequent visits to the gravesite, Samuel grew an unusual fascination for Ghost-type Pokémon and even brought it among himself to train his own in his spare time.
